Our Story
Our dream of building a house in Costa Rica started in 2020. It was a crazy time but from that headiness came an opportunity and a leap of faith. Vista Contenta is two houses of equal quality and design. All rooms have 180 degree views of the Pacific, Playa Flamingo and the surrounding mountains. Our houses are built in the Modern Tropical style with all the amenities and provide the perfect setting to embrace the Blue Zone lifestyle.
Our Properties
Vista Contenta consists of two properties that are the epitome of casual luxury. Choose from the 5-bedroom home that hosts 16 persons or the 3-bedroom home that sleeps 12 comfortably. Each house has its own pool and are mirrors of each other in quality and interior design complete with custom furniture, ensuite bedrooms, locally made art and high end kitchens and bathrooms. The houses have a shared driveway but are separated by a garden and plenty of space for privacy. Larger groups can rent both houses with easy accessibility between houses.
Area Attractions
Our homes are located in the gated community of Mar Vista sandwiched between Brasilito and Flamingo. With over 900 acres Mar Vista offers several neighborhoods of family friend homes + local favorite Gracia Restaurant + El Dorado gym and tennis club + an extensive set of hiking trails from easy to difficult with rewarding views for your hard work. Mar Vista is located within a short drive to a pharmacy, food store and numerous beaches and restaurants. The area is a playground for beach activities including snorkeling, fishing, sunset cruises, diving, surfing, paddle boarding, boating, sitting and walking the beaches, pickle ball, tennis, yoga and more.
